Truck Haulage & Waste Disposal
The New South Wales Environment Protection Authority (EPA) has very specific rules about what can be considered waste and how and where that waste is disposed of.

Building sites notoriously create lots of waste; building rubble including broken concrete, brick and asphalt; VENM - which is uncontaminated, chemically stable, virgin excavated natural material; and GSW, also known as hard fill or general solid waste - both putrescible (liable to decay) and non-putrescible varieties. All of this material needs to be removed from the site and disposed of safely.

This is where DIG IT can help. With our extensive range of trucks and our knowledge and professionalism, we can dispose of all of these waste types. For waste removal fees, click here.

With a range of machines including a 3.5 tonne excavator, a 5 tonne excavator, a posi track and numerous tipper trucks, we are in the midst of this project over in the inner west suburb of Birchgrove. Another site with a stunning water view! This job has involved the demolition of this property followed by bulk and detailed excavation in preparation for a brand new home to be built. Stay tuned for further photos and updates on this project.

Will the excavation damage my property, or that of my neighbours?

The goal of any demolition and excavation company is to provide you with the highest quality service in the shortest amount of time, with minimal impact on the environment. For example, specialty attachments and conveyor belts allow access to small properties without damaging the garden, fence, home, driveway or neighbouring properties. If it is believed that adjustments to a property, or the surrounding area, need to be made to complete the project, the client will be informed beforehand and here at DIG IT, we will always ensure that everything is restored to its original condition before we leave.
